"The land Down Under"

The term "Down Under" began as a nickname for Australia, based on its
position in the Southern Hemisphere, appearing "BELOW" most countries
on maps with north at the top.

Why Australia?

• Globally Ranked Universities: Australia is home to several top 100 universities
• High Academic Standards: Australian institutions maintain rigorous academic quality, supported by frameworks like TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency).
• Strong emphasis on research, especially in medicine, technology, environmental science, and engineering.
• Government investment in research and collaboration with industry

A diverse population makes it easy for international students to feel welcomed and included. Vibrant cultural scenes and food from all over the world.

Australia can be more affordable than other popular study destinations like the USA or UK, especially when considering:
• Shorter degree durations (many bachelor's degrees are completed in 3 years),
• Public transport discounts for students,
• Lower healthcare costs through Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC),
• The ability to work part-time during studies to support living expenses.
By choosing regional cities and managing a budget wisely, international students can enjoy a high-quality education at a competitive overall cost.
.

• Students can work part-time (up to 48 hours per fortnight) during the semester and full-time during holidays, helping with living costs and gaining experience.

• Australia offers diverse programs in fields like business, IT, engineering, health sciences, arts, environmental science, and more.
• Flexible degree structures allow students to tailor their education. For example block teaching.

Natural wonders like the Great Barrier Reef, beaches, rainforests, and deserts. Outdoor lifestyle and a warm, sunny climate in many parts of the country.

• Australia is considered one of the safest countries globally, with high living standards.
• Cities like Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane are known for their livability.

International students can apply for post-study work visas (e.g., Temporary Graduate visa), offering 2–3 years of work experience depending on the qualification and location.

A genuine student statement for an Australian student visa needs to demonstrate a clear intention to study in Australia and return home afterward. It should highlight the applicant's academic background, reasons for choosing Australia and the specific course, and future career goals, while also addressing any potential ties or circumstances that might suggest otherwise.

We will give you a guide to follow with your application.

Australia has a dedicated health insurance system for international students known as Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). This cover is mandatory for the entire duration of enrollment and is a requirement for obtaining a Student Visa (Subclass 500).

OSHC helps cover:

Medical and hospital care while studying in Australia

Emergency ambulance services

A portion of prescription medicine costs

Note: OSHC does not cover dental, optical (eye care), or physiotherapy services. Students who require these should consider purchasing additional private health cover.

The OSHC can be purchased directly from your education provider, or we can help you access competitive rates from approved insurers so you can choose the option that best suits your needs and budget.

Frequently
Asked Questions

While universities often advertise scholarships on their websites or in promotional materials, it's important to note that these scholarships are extremely competitive and typically only cover part of the tuition fees. In Australia, full scholarships are very rare. If any are available, they are usually awarded automatically at the time your offer is made—no separate application is required.

Unfortunately, Uni4You and ACE Australia are not in a position to offer scholarships or financial aid directly.

Yes, once we have completed the Genuine Student check with the university and are certain that you will be receiving your Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE), we can begin the process of booking your medicals.
