The institution(s) require a personal statement to get a clear perspective on the applicant's reasons to study in Australia. It should include the applicant's interests, goals, academic background, progress and reasons for the chosen course. Many institutions provide guides and checklists.

Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE)
The GTE is to make sure the applicant is genuine and not applying for an Australian student visa for reasons other than studying in Australia and returning home on completion of their studies.

Confirmation of enrolment (CoE)
After receiving an offer and meeting all the requirements, an applicant will pay a deposit to the institution. When the institution has confirmed receipt of payment, a CoE is issued.

As the world awaits the borders to re-open, Australian Institutions are offering their programs online. An excellent opportunity for applicants to start their studies online, apply for the Australian Student Visa and travel to Australian to continue studies once borders re-open.
